Hammer Waterfall & Herping
Lata Hammer is a beautiful waterfall with a deep pool to swim in located in Bentong, just 1 hour drive away from Kuala Lumpur. The hike to the waterfall itself is another 1 hour but the trail is well-formed and not very steep. We would be visiting the waterfall in the afternoon, having pack dinner there before herping our way out.
Target Species: Hagen's Pit Viper, Mangrove Cat Snake, Striped Bronzeback, Larut Torrent Frog, Malayan Horned Frog, Sunda Slow Loris, Lesser Mousedeer.
